VAPT

VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing)

Find your vulnerabilities before attackers do.

Our VAPT services provide comprehensive security testing across your entire digital footprint - web applications, mobile apps, APIs, network infrastructure, and cloud environments. Our certified security professionals use the same techniques as real-world attackers to identify vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.

Every engagement begins with a thorough scoping exercise to understand your attack surface, followed by automated scanning and manual penetration testing. We go beyond automated tools - our experts manually test for business logic flaws, authentication bypasses, and complex attack chains that scanners miss.

You receive detailed reports with executive summaries, technical findings, proof-of-concept exploits, and prioritized remediation guidance. We also provide free retesting after remediation to verify that all identified vulnerabilities have been properly fixed.

How VAPT Works in Practice

A vulnerability assessment tells you what is exposed. A penetration test tells you what an attacker could actually do with it. We run both together: automated scanning for breadth, followed by manual testing by experienced testers who chain findings, abuse business logic and try the things scanners cannot, such as authorisation bypasses between two user roles or a payment flow that trusts the client.

Every engagement follows a recognised methodology, OWASP Testing Guide and OWASP Mobile Testing Guide for applications, PTES and NIST SP 800-115 for networks, and CIS Benchmarks for cloud configuration. Testing is scoped and authorised in writing before it starts, runs against the environment you choose, and never touches production data without your explicit approval.

The report is written for two audiences. Engineers get exact reproduction steps, affected components and fix guidance for every finding. Management gets a risk-ranked summary that can go straight to an audit or a customer security questionnaire. A free retest after remediation confirms the fixes and produces a clean closure report.

Our VAPT Process

Every engagement follows the same six steps, scoped to your size and your goals, so you always know what happens next and what you will receive.

  1. 01

    Scoping and authorisation

We agree the targets, test windows, exclusions, test accounts and escalation contacts, and sign a rules-of-engagement document.

  2. 02

    Reconnaissance and automated assessment

Asset discovery, port and service enumeration, and authenticated vulnerability scanning to establish the attack surface quickly.

  3. 03

    Manual penetration testing

Testers work through authentication, session management, access control, input handling, business logic, API security and infrastructure weaknesses, chaining issues to show real impact.

  4. 04

    Reporting

Findings are rated by CVSS and business impact, with evidence, reproduction steps and prioritised remediation guidance. Critical issues are reported immediately, not at the end.

  5. 05

    Remediation support

We walk your developers through the findings, answer questions during fixes and advise on compensating controls where a fix is not immediately possible.

  6. 06

    Retest and closure

A free retest verifies every fix and produces a closure letter you can share with auditors, customers or partners.

VAPT Questions, Answered

What can be tested?

Web applications, mobile apps (Android and iOS), REST and GraphQL APIs, external and internal networks, wireless networks, cloud accounts on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, and Kubernetes clusters. Social engineering and physical testing are available on request.

How long does a VAPT engagement take?

A typical web application takes five to ten working days of testing plus reporting. Mobile apps, APIs and network ranges are scoped individually. We tell you the duration before you commit.

Black box, grey box or white box?

Grey box, where testers have normal user credentials and architecture context, gives the best coverage for the time. Black box simulates an outside attacker and white box adds source code review. We advise based on your goal and budget.

Will testing disrupt our systems?

Tests are scheduled in agreed windows and denial-of-service techniques are excluded unless you specifically request them. We recommend testing a staging environment that mirrors production.

Is the report accepted for ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS or RBI audits?

Yes. The report follows the structure auditors expect and includes methodology, scope, findings and retest evidence. For PCI DSS and RBI or SEBI requirements we align the scope to the specific control.

How often should we run a penetration test?

At least annually, and after any major release, architecture change or security incident. Many clients pair an annual deep test with quarterly lighter assessments.
